IlluXCon Showcase

THE ILLUXCON SHOWCASE:  THE ART-SHOW-WITHIN-AN-ART-SHOW

The IlluXCon Showcase is the limited time, art-show-within-an-art-show at IlluXCon.  While the main exhibition is located at the Altoona Heritage Discovery Center, we have a secondary exhibition Friday night at the Ramada hotel.  The 2011 Showcase was extremely well attended by both members, students, and artists, and many exhibitors sold original works at the Showcase.

The 2012 Showcase will be in the Ramada's ballroom and hallway.  The Showcase will be held from 7:00 pm until midnight on Friday, November 9th. Each Showcase spot consists of a 6-foot table with a white tablecloth, on which you may display anything you like in any manner that you like—easels, flat, leaning against the table, suspended by trained oompa-loompas, etc.  Banners, signs, etc. are all fine, as long as they fit on or around your table.

There will be a $50 fee for Showcase tables. Please note that this fee is in addition to the cost of a ticket, either Member or Student as appropriate. There are 50 tables available for the show, which will be given out on a first come, first served basis.

To reserve a Showcase table, please use the form on the Registration page! If the Showcase table option does not appear on the form, it means that Showcase tables are sold out - please email to be added to the waiting list.
