IlluXCon 2010 Guest List Update!
With a few unexpected cancellations, we have some Guest List updates to share for IlluXCon 3.
1) Sheila Rayyan will not be appearing in the main show—she will have a table at the Friday night/Saturday morning IlluXCon Showcase.
Illie Award Final Nominees! Voting Now Live!
Thanks to everyone who voted on the 2010 Illie Award nominees! Those votes have been tabulated, and the five finalists have been selected. Congratulations to Michael Whelan, Mark Zug, Donato Giancola, Matt Stewart and Scott Gustafson! (And an official Honorable Mention to Omar Rayyan, who missed the top five by only .59 of a percent.)
IlluXcon 2010 Art Directors/Portfolio Reviewers
Just as we did in 2009, IlluXCon will again be offering attendees the chance to sign up for scheduled, 15-minute portfolio review slots with major industry figures. The scheduled slots mean you don't have to waste time standing in line hoping to get a review - sign up for slots will begin September 1st, right here on IlluXCon.com. Our new website banner provides the world's first look at Marc Fishman's 2010 IlluXCon commission, DANTE ON THE BANKS OF THE STYX. The original painting is 30" x 68" in oils on stretched canvas, and will be exhibited at the show in November.
